Adding / Editing Room Descriptions

In the Scheduler window, every column or room of each Practitioner’s Schedule may be assigned a name. For example, you can change Room1 to a room named Treatment Room or Consultation Room, and book appointments under those headings as normal.

Adding Room Descriptions in the Scheduler:

  1. Open the Practitioners List:
    1. Click on the Practitioners list icon on the Scheduler Toolbar.
    2. Or from the Clinic Essentials Menu, select Tables/Practitioners.
  2. Click on practitioner’s name and click Edit. The Edit Practitioner window will appear.
  3. Click on the Configuration tab
  4. Click on the Lookup (binoculars) button beside No. of Rooms at the bottom of the window. The Define Scheduler Column Headings window will appear.
  5. Click on Add. The Edit Column Definition window will appear.
  6. Enter the Column Number for which you would like the description to appear.
  7. Enter the Column Description. (i.e. Treatment Room).
  8. Enter the number in the Appears field where you would like the resulting description to appear
  9. If desired, enter in the the Start Date and End Date for the length of time you would like the description to appear in the scheduler.
  10. Click Save.
  11. Repeat steps 5 through 10 to add more column descriptions for this specific practitioner.
  12. Close the Define Scheduler Column Headings window and click Save to finish editing the practitioner information.

 Editing Room Descriptions:

  1. Open the Practitioners List:
    1. Click on the Practitioners list icon  on the Scheduler Toolbar.
    2. Or from the Clinic Essentials Menu, select Tables/Practitioners.
  2. Click on practitioner’s name and click Edit. The Edit Practitioner window will appear.
  3. Click on the Configuration tab
  4. Click on the Lookup (binoculars) button   beside No. of Rooms at the bottom of the window. The Define Scheduler Column Headings window will appear.
  5. Click the description that you would like to edit
  6. Click Edit.
  7. The Edit Column Definition window will appear.
  8. Type over any field in the screen.
  9. Click Save.
  10. Close the Define Scheduler Column Headings window and click Save to finish editing the practitioner information.
