Practitioner Special Schedule

Practitioner Special Schedule has been slightly altered to make it more user friendly.

General schedule has not been changed. This is essentially the schedule that is active at all times, unless a Special Schedule is active. You can only have one General schedule.

Special Schedule
Special Schedule is a short term schedule that takes place of the General Schedule for a period of time. This feature can be utilized for a number of different reasons: shorter summer hours, vacation, or extended hours. You can have multiple Special Schedules, but the dates cannot overlap.

For example:
Your General schedule is 9am-5pm, Monday-Friday. The practitioner would like to change their schedule for the months of June to August to reflect shorter hours for the summer. You would then create a Special Schedule for June 1st to August 31st for the shorter hours. Once the Special Schedule date range has passed, the General schedule will take effect again.


  1. Edit the practitioner you wish to set up a Special Schedule for
  2. On the Template tab, select "Setup special schedule for a date range"
  3. On the right, select the starting and ending date of the Special Schedule
  4. Click Add
  5. Select the Monday tab
  6. Enter the Start Time and End Time on the left and select the intervals
  7. Click on "Create New"
  8. Click Save at the bottom of the screen
  9. Go through the Tuesday to Sunday tabs to set up the schedule for the rest of the week
  10. Click Save at the top right
